Care Pages

January 2, 2006 - the day we started sharing our journey with the world.  On that day, I sat in a small computer room at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston.  Mike and I wanted to keep our friends and family up-to-date on Ellie Kate's status, so we decided to use this "new" program called Carepages.  It was the latest and greatest way to get the news out, at least at the time.

As I typed that first post, our Princess Ellie laid in the NICU on a ventilator.  She was in a coma and still wasn't showing signs of waking up.  Mike and Conner were home in Oklahoma City and I was in Houston, alone.  Carepages gave me a connection to my home, physically, mentally and spiritually.  It became an outlet for me as I laid my feelings and thoughts out for all to see.

Our Carepage is something that is incredibly beautiful to me.  It shows our journey - the ups, downs, twists, and turns.  Every detail is there.  It is our history as a family.  Our life unfolds on our Carepage. Truly it is an absolute treasure in so many ways!

I invite you to take little step back in time by visiting our Carepage.  See where it all began!

CAREPAGE DIRECTIONS:
